Job Title – HEAR Fellowship Director
Job Purpose: Provide Student and Parent Functions
Key Responsibilities:
· Seek persons to fill each fellowship coordinator position
· Be available to assist coordinators
· Help to create coordinator job descriptions if needed
· Post coordinator information on the HEAR calendar and website
· Communicate with the coordinators to ensure they are actively working towards their individual position goals
· Provide coordinators with position guidelines when available
· Be aware of planned functions to ensure they stay within the HEAR Statement of Purpose and Belief
· Keep the HEAR leaders informed of the fellowship coordinators’ progress
· Consult with coordinators at the end of each year to verify their desire to retain their position
· Serve on the Board of Directors and is expected to make effort to attend board meetings and all board functions
· Submit a bio and photograph to the Website Administrator and confirm with coordinators their submissions
Subordinates:
PK-6th Grade Park Day Coordinator:
§ Schedule the day, time, and place for a once-a-week playtime, e.g. Huck Sansbury Park, YFC Warehouse, Olive Hill Park
§ Contact the director with information for the HEAR calendar and website and keep them informed of park day plans
§ Send email announcements to the HEAR leaders
§ Arrange for photographs to be taken occasionally and prints donated to the HEAR scrapbook/yearbook
§ Submit a bio and photograph to the Website Administrator
7th-12th Grade Park Day Coordinator:
§ Plan age appropriate once-a-week outings to encourage group fellowship
§ Contact the director with information for the HEAR calendar and website and keep
them informed of function plans
§ Send email announcements to the HEAR leaders
§ Arrange for photographs to be taken occasionally and prints donated to the HEAR
scrapbook/yearbook
§ Submit a bio and photograph to the Website Administrator
Mom’s Night/Morning Out Coordinator:
§ Be aware of the dates set for MNO/MMO and schedule a volunteer mom to
host these fellowship times
§ Encourage the hostess to plan a devotional or select a topic for a sharing time
§ Arrange for photographs to be taken and prints donated to the HEAR scrapbook/yearbook
§ Contact the director with information for the HEAR calendar and website and keep them informed of plans
§ Send email announcements to the HEAR leaders
§ Submit a bio and photograph to the Website Administrator
Parents With Special Needs Children Coordinator:
§ Communicate with the parents of special-needs children
§ Inquire as to what kind of activities would be appropriate and
enjoyable for their children
§ Plan ways to be available for the parents who need encouragement
through prayer, Scripture, suggesting resources, a listening ear, etc.
§ Organize or seek a volunteer to plan fellowship activities
§ Purpose to connect families who share similar needs
§ Select functions that stay within the HEAR Statement of Purpose and Belief
§ Arrange for photographs to be taken at group functions and prints donated
to the HEAR scrapbook/yearbook
§ Contact the director with information for the HEAR calendar and website
and keep them informed of plans
§ Send email announcements to the HEAR leaders
§ Submit a bio and photograph to the Website Administrator
Student Fellowship Coordinator:
§ Purpose to provide opportunities for students to connect
§ Plan or seek volunteers to plan special outings such as ice skating, roller skating, bowling, Bible study, dinner out, etc.
§ Select functions that stay within the HEAR Statement of Purpose and Belief
§ Arrange for photographs to be taken of various activities and prints donated
to the HEAR scrapbook/yearbook
§ Contact the director with information for the HEAR calendar or website and keep them informed of fellowship plans
§ Send email announcements to the HEAR leaders
§ Submit a bio and photograph to the Website Administrator
Father’s Outreach Coordinator:
§ Organize or seek a volunteer to plan various outings for homeschool fathers, e.g.
breakfast out, horseshoe games, bowling, home meeting fellowship time
§ Purpose to encourage fathers in their leadership role as home school dads
§ Arrange for photographs to be taken of various functions and prints donated
to the HEAR scrapbook/yearbook
§ Select functions that stay within the HEAR Statement of Purpose and Belief
§ Contact the director with information for the HEAR calendar or website and keep them informed of outreach plans
§ Send email announcements to the HEAR leaders
§ Submit a bio and photograph to the Website Administrator
