HEAR Family Field Day is the finale for the school year.  Instead of having a regular HEAR support group meeting the HEAR families gather at Mayo Park on a Saturday in May to have a field day. Playing games, holding contests, a horseshoe tournament, and having lunch keeps everyone busy.  At the end of the day awards (ribbons) and participation certificates are given out along with a short HEAR meeting to wrap up the group’s business for the year.  It is a time of fellowship and fun for everyone.  Some families start early with a camp out the Friday night before.
