Enrichment/Coop Coordinator Job Description:

§         Coordinate volunteers for enrichment classes

§         Be the contact person for scheduling the classes

§         Communicate with the enrichment teachers to determine the best location for the classes

§         May teach a class, but is not responsible for planning specific classes for others to teach

§         Realize that parents are to be involved by suggesting class subjects, recommending potential instructors, and offering to teach when possible

§         Understand that once a class is scheduled, it is the parent’s responsibility to contact the enrichment teacher to enroll their child and to get necessary information on cost, materials needed, etc.

§         Inform parents that all expenses are paid by participants

§         Inform instructors they are responsible for leaving the facility as it was before the class

§         Contact the director with information for the HEAR calendar or website and keep them informed about classes

§         Send email announcements to the HEAR leaders

§         Arrange for photographs of the participants to be taken and copies given to the Scrapbook/Yearbook Coordinator
