Through the coordinating efforts of Kathy Morris and assistance from many of the moms, the Fall Harvest party held at the

Pumpkin patch field trip
Fun at the Pumpkin Patch!
Warehouse October 29th was a huge success! If you missed it, you missed a wonderful time of fun and food.
Patricia Horner reported that we had 60 participants for the party which is approximately twice what we usually have.
There was food in abundance and games galore. Lots of the kids participated in an "eat-the-donut" contest where donuts were suspended from a rope and they had one minute to eat as many as possible, all without using their hands.
A count-the-treats-in-the-jar contest was held where most of the kids (including the big kids!) tried to guess how many treats were in a jar. Matthew Chaney won with his guess of 72. There were 74 so his guess was very close. His older brother Michael was second runner-up but as I told Matthew, he only had to share if his mom told him to. HAHAHA
The party ended with a cake walk where the kids walked around in a circle while the music played, then sat on a picture of a fall related item. Jackson Chaney pulled coordinating pictures form a bag and announced each one. It appears he's a natural for a game show host job some day!

The party was so much fun that Cheryl Chaney and Jayne Nagy are planning a Christmas party now. Be watching for details!

Linda Clayton's "recipe" for her cocktail wieners

Cut hot dogs into bite size pieces and toss them into a Crockpot with mustard and whatever jelly you have on hand. She happened to have grape and raspberry and I'm here to tell you, they tasted as wonderful as they smelled!
