If you have a student that is a good speller and enjoys competing, the HEAR Spelling Bee is for your family. Each spring, homeschoolers gather for the thrilling competition. Prior to the event, a spelling word list is made available to those who register, giving the participating families time to prepare. Standard Spelling Bee guidelines are provided and enforced by the moderator. Ribbons are given to the winners and each participant receives a certificate. Be sure to watch for a registration announcement and get a head start on preparing your student to meet the challenge of becoming a spelling bee winner. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
