 HEAR graduation is a great time of the year for our homeschooling families. Each year HEAR provides the opportunity for member seniors to participate in a graduation ceremony. The excitement begins the first of the year as the graduation coordinator organizes meetings with the graduates and their parents.

 Graduation guidelines have been set into place and offer many options for the seniors and their parents. Each year’s ceremony is unique as the families add their individual “touch.” The ceremony is extremely personalized since it is centered around a small group. The graduates may choose to present the graduation program themselves or invite special guests. Each student sets up a display table where they share various memorabilia with those attending. The parents are given an opportunity to speak directly to their graduate, reminisce a bit and express their personal thoughts. It is a perfect setting for them to demonstrate their love, care, and concern for their child and his/her future. Homeschool families and friends join together at HEAR graduations to celebrate the graduates’ accomplishments and to give them support as they begin a new journey. What a wonderful way to end a school year!
