The HEAR Moms’ Night Out is exactly what it sounds like: a moms’ night out with other homeschool moms. Every other month a homeschool mom opens her home on a Friday night, and homeschool moms get to leave their family at home for the evening, to gather and fellowship with each other. This is a night of encouragement and education, and more. It is a night when Moms get to gather to share their concerns about homeschooling and receive valuable information and support. Veteran moms encourage new moms while new-to-the-group moms get to know each other and forge new friendships. Moms with children with same interests, age, or special needs have a wonderful opportunity to create new relationships, mixed with lots of laughter, tears and prayers. The agenda for the night varies according to the night’s Hostess but the night typically starts with prayer and devotion, and then the evening usually evolves into sharing helpful ideas, accomplishments and struggles of homeschooling.  Moms’ Night Out is a lifeline for the moms to actually talk one on one with each other and receive that much needed support.  A big highlight of the evening is the refreshment time. The refreshment is entirely the choice of the hosting mom with some hosts choosing to furnish all the refreshments while others will opt to ask that guests bring a snack, which often results in sharing of the recipes.

Moms’ Night Out can be a tremendous blessing and all of our HEAR moms are encouraged to plug in to the group
